Okta Integration

Prerequisites:

Ensure that you have the following:

• An Okta account with admin privileges

• SP-initiated SSO

Walk Through:

To configure Okta as the IdP for Numitor:

1. Log in to the Okta portal as an administrator and go to Browse App Catalog from the top menu.
2. In the search toolbar, search for Numitor. When the application appears, click Add.
3. On the General Settings page that appears:
   1. For Application label, make sure that Numitor is entered.
4. Go to the Sign On page, click Edit, and complete the fields. You must use the SAML 2.0 sign-on option for this application.
5. Accept defaults and click done.
6. Go to the Sign On tab of SpiderSense application and copy your Metadata URL to clip board (see image below).
7. Go to Admin > Settings > SAML SSO. 
8. Enter the following:
   • ENABLE SAML SSO: Select Yes
   • IDP Provider: Select Okta
   • Metadata URL: Paste the Metadata URL (step 1).
   • Click Save Changes
   • Email the URL to support@numitor.co.uk and we will update your user pool on our end.
   • We will notify you when you are set up and you will then be able to assign people to the application.

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to SpiderSense.
• The following SAML attributes are supported:
  Email

1. From your browser go to: https://spidersense.co/
2. Click Login with Okta.
3. Enter your email and password. If your credentials are correct you will be redirected to the SpiderSense dashboard.
